The working theory
Complexity is not a personality trait.
I lead teams through the moments where product, architecture, operations, and now agents start talking over one another. The job is to find the useful signal, make a decision, and build the mechanism that keeps working after the meeting ends.
I’ve done that in global engineering orgs, early-stage companies, and revenue-critical platforms across ML, security, cloud, and mobile. The same rules apply to agents: good context, sharp boundaries, observable results.

How I tend to think.

Clarity is a feature.
Write the decision, the owner, and the tradeoff. If the work is important, a person or an agent needs the same shared version of reality.

Context beats clever prompts.
Agents get useful when the goal, constraints, tools, and definition of done are explicit. The same is true for teams.

Support pain is product debt.
The fastest route to better software is often listening to the people explaining why it hurts.

Reliability earns freedom.
Good guardrails make teams and agents faster. Heroics are a fine origin story and a terrible operating model.
